HN cites it as evidence of the violence of the Capitol breach when debating how to characterize the event.
A Telegraph news clip showing newly revealed footage from the January 6 Capitol attack, with rioters overwhelming police. It accompanies coverage of the congressional committee's televised hearing.
> You watched a few confused people mill around the rotunda and take selfies. This characterization is dishonest. [this video] Please don't bother with equivocations.
Footage of rioters overwhelming police, rebutting a claim
It's not at all a bold claim. The founder of the Oath Keepers was convicted, tried, and found guilty of "seditious conspiracy" in a court of law. You are are either lying, or guilty of severe inattention, if you go around claiming that "all the evidence we have seen" shows that. e.g. [link] [this video] <- That's a forcible breach, not "being let through"
most likely because the police that let them in were complicit? do you not remember someone getting killed when they tried to breach the inner chambers? what's the point that you're circling here? that these people were there to take a tour of the capitol and the gallows, weapons, and IEDs they brought and chants of "hang mike pence" were just jokes? based on the fact that outnumbered police didn't open fire on the crowd? just come out and say it. - [this video] - [link]
> Normally dictators don’t let go of power This was attempt number one: [this video] All including the ones using violence against policeman were just freed less than a week ago.
