Years with an HN recommendation, 2007–2026
HN people recommend it for its simple, powerful idea of marginal adjustments and its usefulness for tackling big projects.
Stephen Duneier describes a decision-making approach that took him from struggling with simple tasks to achieving ambitious goals. The talk centers on breaking goals into small marginal adjustments.
“The idea of marginal adjustment is both simple and powerful.” (HN, 2018)
That should be the real question. All else is just a consequence of being motivated enough to achieve that particular goal. You are probably fine already, but if you feel that you want more, I would suggest to get some inspiration from a new paradigm you never did before. Random-looking goals work if you devote yourself fully; new paradigm.
