> US policies will force many EU businesses to either delocalize to the US or to shutdown, as if it was all planned, boosting the US economy, what ever it takes, god save the dollar Always has been. There were some tin foil hat types that were saying that the goal of the Ukraine/Russia conflict was 2 fold. 1. To get rid of Putin 2. To make the EU rely on the US instead of Russia. It appears the second part is working. The more the US escalated the conflict the more power it held over the EU. Some might even say that the bombing of Nord Stream helped this endeavor. Just for prosperity. The Orange Man was laughed at and ridiculed when bring up reliance on Russian supplies. Didn't age very well. [this video]

> Eh I would say Socialism as practiced in Western Europe and the Nordics is doing better It is not an easy comparison. They have the luxury of the US taxpayers taking care of their defense while they propped up Russia, which US is also paying the most by a large margin to fix now [1, 2, 3]. Hilariously US socialists are against US defense spending except when it comes to US spending on Europe. They also have the luxury of oil money which American "socialists" are totally against [4]. All in all, a pretty neat scam if you ask me. [1] [link] [2] [this video] [3] [link] [4] [link] . Edit: All of what I say is objective. Luxurious Western Europe and Nordic "socialism" can't survive without gullible US taxpayers footing the bill over decades.
> The us vs them in your comment feels quasi-political and unfounded. Yeah, I've noticed there's a lot of virtue signaling form some Europeans, especially amongst the wealthier Germans, Benelux, and Nordics who have this "holier than though" posture on how much better they are than Americans(wide brush stroke here) for being non-materialistic (also copium for their low skilled wages), while coasting on generational wealth inherited from those before them. Well if you're so non-materialistic, why aren't dropping the prices of your housing so other people can actually afford to buy something instead of hoping to profiteer from them like those "greedy" Americans? As always, the people lecturing you on how money doesn't matter, are those who already have money. Just like those Germans laughing at Trump when he warned them about Germany's dependence on Russian energy in 2018. [1] They can be so smug and full of themselves sometimes. [1] [this video]
