First, even if fossil fuel companies predicted a rise in temperature due to their activities, they're as helpless to predict cause and effect in a complex system as everyone else. They're probably guilty of dishonesty, but it's wrong to act as if they had special insight and ability to predict the future because of what they sell. Second, most of the alleged warming almost certainly just comes from data tampering by NOAA. NOAA "models" an increasing number of its stations (lately around 40%). On those stations, it fabricates data according to a model, and applies a varying fudge factor that cools the past and warms the present in a way that assumes the CO2 hypothesis. The first few minutes of this video provide an explanation. [this video]
Claims NOAA fabricates station data to cool the past
> They insist on this because we can actually quantify almost precisely how this is the fault of human activity. No, we can't. We live in a complex system. It's basically impossible to untangle cause and effect. > The rate of global warming is almost perfectly matched to greenhouse gas emissions. Well, this is an interesting issue. There's a result with very serious implications floating around that I've been waiting for someone to reproduce. The gist of it is that when NOAA measurement stations fail or get retired, they're replaced with virtual stations that generate fabricated data generated by models that assume the CO2 hypothesis. That'd be bad, huh. [this video]
Claims NOAA replaces stations with modeled virtual stations
Temperature data manipulation by NOAA goes far beyond what people might imagine. They cool the past and warm the present by fabricating data for stations using a model that assumes the CO2 hypothesis. [this video]
