Recommended by some as a provocative critique of scientific dogma, and also cited as the talk TED pulled.
A re-upload of Rupert Sheldrake's TEDx talk The Science Delusion, which TED removed from its channel. He challenges what he calls the dogmas of modern science, including whether fundamental constants are constant.
“his points about fundamental "constants" changing, and the metrologists' dogmatic (really, anti-scientific) response, are worth pondering.” (HN, 2017)
I think this shows scientific institutions and advocates in a bad light. Rupert Sheldrake had a great TED talk on the dogma's of modern science, and was even further legitimized when a private council of TED banned the talk. Link: [this video]
An interesting (banned) TEDx talk by Rupert Sheldrake, one part on the changing "fundamental constants", starting here: [this video] The other parts are a bit "woo" and I'm sure would be laughed at by the HN crowd. But his points about fundamental "constants" changing, and the metrologists' dogmatic (really, anti-scientific) response, are worth pondering.
Reminds me of a talk of Rupert Sheldrake at Google Talks: [link] and then later he gave a talk called "The Science Delusion" which got banned from TED: [this video]
